...is causing this?? As you can see he's bent double turning himself almost completely inside out. All the water parameters are good. Can anyone help?

There is still a fair bit of debate about what causes this. We actually think it can be down to a few different possibilities.

1) Physical damage to the top of the bell can cause a weak spot which can cause the bell to fold backwards over time. This can happen if the jellyfish is pulsing against a hard or abrasive surface for long periods of time.

2) Instability in water conditions can also cause inversion of the bell. Swings in temperature outside of the jellyfish's comfort zone can cause this.

There are various other factors that may cause this issue but the ones above are the most likely culprits. Unfortunately moons rarely recover from this although it may actually live in this shape for a long time.
