Jellyfish swimming to bottom

Postby anupghosh » 16 May 2016, 02:45

Hi,

I have four jellyfish and three of them seem to be constantly swimming to the bottom of the jellyfish tank. One of them swims/floats happily around, while the other three seem to be constantly trying to swim to the bottom. I fear it is a water chemistry problem, but all the vitals are normal. Salinity is higher than recommended.

Any suggestions?

thanks!

I'll respond to my own post. I had an air bubbler sans the air stone in the outside compartment. When I turned it off, the little guys seemed happier and swim to the top. I put an airstone on the end and they seem happier. Guess they were scared by the noise/vibrations from the tube..
