Hi Spongebob!

How are your jellies doing? Any updates?

So far so good! We did have a bit of an issue with pH not long after adding the first jellies. We noticed the jellies weren't pulsing as well as when we put them in the tank so we did a full test of the water. The only thing we found out of line was the pH which had dropped all the way down to 7.1.

I bought a small air pump and put an air-stone in the back section of the tank. This quickly brought the pH back up to 7.9 which had an obvious positive effect of the jellies. They started pulsing well again and now look healthier than ever!

Below is my current water quality:

NH3: 0
NO2: 0
NO3: 13
Salinity: 34ppt
pH: 7.9
Temp: 22-24C

That's very interesting about the pH issue and your way of solving the problem. We do find we have to add pH puffers to our tanks from time to time but adding an airstone to the back compartment seems like a simple and effective way to avoid having to do this.

I'm glad to see your jellies are doing well!
